Jerrod Cate is a CrossFit Level 2 coach who helps people transition their dreams to goals and then accomplishments. A fun loving amateur athlete now, Jerrod started his journey with CrossFit in 2010 when he found out that he weighed almost 300 lbs.
After trying tons of diets and weight loss fads, Jerrod decided he was sick and tired of being sick and tired. He started focusing on his performance rather than his weight and started CrossFit at a gym in Springfield, MO. He has since 110 lbs and has more energy than ever.
Jerrod believes that coaching is more than just saying the right cues and watching an athlete work. It’s being there for each individual and learning the way that they learn best. It’s helping people push past a point that they thought they could endure and giving them the training and expertise to do it safely and effectively
Jerrod’s desire is to see lives changed and made better Physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
