I started my CrossFit journey in 2008. I love everything about CrossFit, CrossFit Raw Steel, and the community of people I’ve met along the way. I’m a Level 1 Certified coach.
I have been working out since I was 16, starting in a weightlifting class in high school. That’s the extent of my “athletic career”. I’ve always loved working out-thank goodness. For me it’s a joy, not a job, and I’m very grateful for that. I have done all areas of working out, Richard Simmons, Buns of Steel, Tae Bo, group fitness classes, I even taught group fitness for 6 years at Ozark Fitness Clubs. And I’ve never found anything like CrossFit that keeps me entertained day after day. And I love bringing this joy to others. I love helping them achieve new goals, achieving new PR’s, whatever that may be for them. It’s a joy watching those who love to compete but also those who show up each day with no interest at all to compete. I love seeing people find their place here and hold their heads a little higher. CrossFit can give you so much empowerment and self-worth and that’s just neat to be part of!
