CrossFit Kids is a method for teaching Greg Glassman’s CrossFit to children ages 5-18. Based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement. Plus it is FUN!
Youth class schedule:
Teens (Age 11-18): Mondays @ 3:30PM-4:15PM
Kids (Age 5-10): Thursdays @ 3:30PM-4:15PM
Cost: $30/month for one child and $25/month for each additional child…OR included in a CrossFit Raw Steel family membership. Please see our Rates page for family membership details.
*For homeschoolers – this is a great way get your science, math, health, exercise and nutrition credits covered in a fun and challenging environment. Be sure to bring a notebook and pencil along with you to each class!
